Required Documents:
- Copy of valid passport – first biodata page & last address page
- Copy of old passport (if any)
- Copy of previous US visa – any category (if any)
- FIR copy – if previous passport/visa was lost or stolen
Documents Required for Both OFC (Biometric) and Consular Appointment:
- Original passport (valid for more than six months) and old passports, if any
- DS-160 confirmation form
- Payment proof (sent by the Embassy on your mail) – optional
- US Visa Appointment Letter (to be shared by us)
- Two photos (2×2 inches, white background, 75% face visible)
- Cover letter on company letterhead, addressed to The Visa Officer, Embassy of the United States of America, stating applicant’s name, designation, purpose, and duration of visit
- Invitation letter
- Original bank statement for the last 6 months (preferably)
- Salary slips for the last 3 months (preferably)
- Income tax papers for the last 3 years (preferably)
- Appointment/Offer letter from company (preferably)
Important Notes:
- The Embassy may request additional documents not listed above.
- Visa approval/rejection is at the Embassy’s discretion.
- Processing time may be extended if additional documents are requested.
- As discussed, these appointments are non-refundable, non-changeable, and non-cancellable.
- The Embassy reserves the right to request additional documents.
- Biometrics and interview are mandatory for fresh cases.
- Visa grant or rejection is at the sole discretion of the Embassy.
- Drop/pick-up or courier charges, if applicable, will be extra as per agreement.
- Pick-and-drop services, if opted, will be charged extra.
- Appointment bookings depend on slot availability on the portal.
- VFS charges an additional INR 1,200–1,500 for passport delivery after visa approval (mandatory).
- If an appointment is not booked within approximately one year of fee payment, the visa fee will be forfeited.
