Kindly note the following:

  • For a Multi-Entry Visa, the applicant must visit VFS for biometrics.
  • 1-year Multi-Entry Visais currently not being issued and submitted; only a 6-month Multi-Entry Visa is available at present.
  • To apply for a Double Entry or Multi-Entry Visa, the applicant must have a minimum of 3 to 4 previously issued China visasand travel history.

Biometric Exemption From Aug 21 – Dec 31, 2023: No biometrics for categories: M, L, Q2, G, C (New Delhi)- Biometric exemption for applicants under 14 or above 70
Jurisdiction Rules – Maharashtra, Karnataka → Apply in Mumbai

Odisha, WB, Bihar, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh → Apply in Kolkata

All other states → Apply in Delhi

Additional Notes (Latest Update) For Passports Issued Outside Delhi Jurisdiction – Company ID proof of applicant
– NOC letter from company on letterhead (mentioning applicant’s China travel & working address)
– National ID card (Aadhar, Voter ID, DL, etc.) for Delhi jurisdiction. If not available, application must be filed under correct jurisdiction.
Embassy Advisory Embassy has started issuing some visas with shorter stay/validity (less than 3 months validity & 30 days stay). Applicants should submit actual travel itinerary with visa application.
