Short-term business engagements Visa Checklist for Indian Nationals

As of May 1, 2025, Indian nationals can enter Thailand visa-free for up to 60 days for tourism purposes. However, it’s essential to comply with the new entry requirements to ensure a smooth immigration process.

Visa-Free Entry Requirements

  1. Passport: Valid for at least 6 months from the date of arrival.
  2. Return/Onward Ticket: Confirmed booking for departure from Thailand within 60 days.
  3. Accommodation Details: Hotel bookings or stay arrangements in Thailand.
  4. Proof of Sufficient Funds: Minimum of 20,000 THB per person or 40,000 THB per family.

📝 Mandatory: Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC)

Effective from May 1, 2025, all travelers must complete the TDAC online at least 3 days before arrival. This replaces the traditional paper TM6 arrival card.

TDAC Requirements:

  • Passport Information: Full details as per your passport.
  • Travel Itinerary: Flight and accommodation details.
  • Health & Travel History: Recent travel and health information.
  • Contact Information: Phone number and email address.

After submission, a QR code confirmation will be generated. This must be presented upon arrival in Thailand. The TDAC is free of charge and can be accessed at the official portal
