Kindly note: We will be able to schedule an appointment or check available dates only after the UK visa fee payment has been made and the online application has been submitted.

The following documents will be required from the applicant on the date of interview:

Mandatory Documents (Applicant):

• Valid passport with at least 6 months’ validity from date of travel and a minimum of one blank back-to-back page for visa stamp. (Attach all previous passports to reflect travel history).
• One online visa application form (to be filled after creating an applicant profile). Applicant must provide details in the Proforma shared so that we can complete the online form.
• Covering letter from applicant mentioning name, designation, passport number, purpose, and duration of visit.
  • If self-employed: on company letterhead.
  • If employed: on plain paper.
• Proof of occupation:
  • If employed: NOC from employer, last 6 months’ salary slips, and office ID card copy.
  • If student: Student ID card, NOC from school/college, and academic holiday calendar.
• Bank statements for the last 6 months (with bank stamp & sign).
• Income Tax Returns for the last 3 years.
• Other financial documents such as FDRs, mutual funds, or liquid asset statements (if any).

From Company (if applicable):

• Company covering letter stating purpose and dates of travel.

From Inviter (if applicable):

• Invitation letter on letterhead, addressed to The Visa Officer, British High Commission, New Delhi, duly signed and stamped.
• Inviter’s passport copy, UK visa copy, and BRP card copy.
• If inviter is sponsoring the trip:
  • 6 months’ salary slips.
  • 6 months’ bank statements.
  • Tax return papers.

Additional Documents (as applicable):

• Travel itinerary (tickets) – arranged by us.
• Stay itinerary (hotel booking/address in UK) – arranged by us.
• Proof of income: Personal ITR for 3 years, 6 months’ salary slips, forex endorsement, or credit card copy.

Fees (Approximate, subject to change):

• Standard Visitor Visa (6 months): INR 15,800/- per application
• VFS Document Scanning Charges: INR 2,006/- per application
• VFS Courier Charges: INR 1,010/- per application

Processing Time:

• Normal: 3–5 weeks (after document submission and biometrics).
  Please note: Processing times are indicative and may vary at the sole discretion of the High Commission.

Important Notes:

• Applicant must visit VFS personally for submission and biometrics.
• Visa grant or refusal is entirely at the discretion of the High Commission.
• The High Commission may request additional documents or call the applicant for an interview.
• Visa fees and service charges are non-refundable.
